Dexcom G7: I received a Country of Residence error message

FAQ:

I got an error message from Dexcom that says 'Country of Residence Issue'. What should I do?

Answer:

This error occurs when a member is attempting to set up and apply the Dexcom G7 for the first time while they are outside of the United States.

According to the Dexcom website: "The first time you start the Dexcom G7 app, it verifies that the country you are in matches the country of residence in your account. This ensures you will get the resources and features approved for use where you are currently located." After that initial verification, the G7 app will remember your information and not ask to check again. So you can travel to other countries, start new sensors, and update the app while traveling.

For this reason, we suggest you set up and apply your first Dexcom G7 Sensor while you are in the United States, before you travel. After the initial set up, you should be fine to use and swap out sensors while traveling abroad.

If you have applied your first sensor while outside of the US, please reach out to the support team at support@levelshealth.com for a replacement. We'll have it sent to your home, where it will be awaiting your return.

If you have other questions, feel free to email the Levels Support Team at support@levelshealth.com.
